Thank you for inquiring into the Augusta Home Builders Association. We are members of both the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV).
The National Association of Home Builders is a non-profit trade association whose primary goal is to keep housing as a top national priority. Founded in 1942, NAHB is organized as a federation of more than 850 state and local home builders associations nationwide. It is comprised of over 190,000 members. The membership represents a wide diversity of industry-related professions, including builders, remodelers, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and much more.
The Home Builders Association of Virginia represents the home building industry on the state level. It is present at each General Assembly Session representing the home building industries needs.
As a member of the Augusta Home Builders Association, you are automatically a member of the national and state association. AHBA exists to provide builders, remodelers and associate members with assistance for their needs in the Augusta, Staunton and Waynesboro area. The association also provides valuable information for the building industry and a forum to share views on such issues as building codes, industry trends, etc.
Our general monthly meetings are comprised of a ½ hour social, followed by dinner, a short business meeting, and a program of local interest. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at The Elks Lodge Waynesboro at 6:30 pm.

Our dues for membership are only $375 per year. Of this amount $150 goes to the NAHB, $130 goes to the HBAV, and $75 goes to the AHBA. Please fill out the enclosed application for membership and send, along with your check made to Augusta Home Builders Assn., Inc., to Augusta Home Builders Association., Inc., PO Box 36, Waynesboro VA 22980.
