A recent study by members of Staunton, Augusta & Waynesboro Career & Technical Education Strategic Plan Committee shows concern in our workforce for filling jobs in local trades. Many of these jobs are well-paying, and students would come out of VCTC able to make a good living. They would also not have the heavy debt a typical 4 year degree would burden them with.
Augusta Home Builders Association is committed to finding a solution to the problem of workforce development. Join us as we show our support to Valley Career and Technical Center. We hope to spread the word of the many opportunities available to our high school students.
We intend to do this by joining forces with WHSV TV in making aware to families and their children the many exciting career paths offered at Valley Career and Technical Center.
VIEW COMMERCIAL
Our goal is to run the commercial for a 3 month period -- running from August through October. This does come at a cost, and we would like for you to join forces with us.
